One Day At A Time theme was created when my mom’s breast cancer returned for the second time in June of 2009. Her first battle was in 2003, long before I ever dreamed of making websites.

“One Day At A Time” comes from a bracelet the women in my family wear when they go through tough times. Each one of my sisters has worn it while going through different issues in life. My mom was the first to wear it in 2003 when she first battle cancer.

Upon hearing my mom’s cancer had returned, my dad said “Tim, I need a blog so I can post mom’s status and everyone can read it without having to call the house everyday.” I immediately contact my friend Mike Metcalf to help with the design. He is the best designer I know and was more than happy to help.

I wanted to share this theme with others in hopes it will help people cope with breast cancer in a more simple, beautiful way through modern technology.
